Math tutoring

Hello, my name is Vojta Gadurek. This year I finished my bachelor's in Computer Science at Matfyz (Faculty of Mathematics and Physics), before than I studied at PORG.  In my free time, I help organize two math correspondence seminars for high school students.

Over the past five years, I have helped dozens of students successfully pass entrance exams or simply better understand the material. In addition to tutoring, I also spend a large portion of my time as a camp leader for children's camps.

WHAT I TUTOR

• Mathematics

• Computer Science

• Preparation for Scio tests

• Preparation for the Matura exam (Czech graduation exams)

• I can also tutor some university-level subjects such as Discrete Mathematics, Mathematical Analysis, Linear Algebra, Algorithms and Data Structures, Propositional and Predicate Logic, Probability, Complexity Theory, Logical Programming, Linear Programming, Algebra, and finally, Automata and Grammars.

PRICE

• 600 CZK per regular hour (30 eur per hour) 

• 1,000 CZK per hour for entrance exam per hour (50 eur per hour)

• plus 200 CZK for in-person lessons (4 eur fee)

• 1000 CZK per hour for consulting services (50 euro per hour)

HOW A TUTORING SESSION WORKS
My goal is not just for students to learn the material but also to truly understand it, as this is the only way they can continue to build on it in the future. Everything needs to be experienced and practiced, which is why we spend as much time as possible working through problems in my lessons. I enjoy interactive lessons and encourage students to think about the problem and try to solve it themselves.

To create a relaxed atmosphere, I always address students informally, while I address parents more formally.

ONLINE TUTORING
For online tutoring, I use Google Meet and a graphic tablet. If needed, I can lend a new tablet. The refundable deposit is 700 CZK with an additional 200 CZK rental fee.

TUTORING LOCATIONS
I currently tutor both online and in person. In-person tutoring is available in Prague, along metro lines C and B, from Florenc to Černý Most and Letňany, as well as in the city center and nearby areas.

Specifically, these districts: Letňany, Kbely, Černý Most, Libeň, Prosek, Satalice, Kyje, Karlín, Vysočany, and also in the center of Prague, such as Malá Strana, New Town, Old Town, and Holešovice.

In summary: Prague 1, Prague 2, Prague 3, Prague 7, Prague 8, Prague 9, Prague 18, Prague 19, Prague 20, and Prague 21.

If you are from elsewhere, please note that I may require a longer tutoring session.
